From the start of the walking track at Athol wharf road, an easy meandering coastal walk takes you through bushland close to the water out towards Bradley's Head, where superb views west along Sydney harbour to the Opera house and bridge are offered. This walk can be extended into a lovely longer trip around Bradley's head and then onto Chowder bay

From circular quay, catch the Ferry to Taronga Zoo Ferry Wharf. From here you can turn right and walk about 150 metres down Athol wharf road until you reach the start of the Bradley head walking track. If you are driving, from Mosman, head south on Bradley's head road, finding a spot to park at either Athol Hall, Bradley's head or Athol's wharf road, each of which provide reasonable proximity to the walking track.
