Southwest National Park in Tasmania is a vast, mostly trackless wilderness containing ancient forests, the wildest rivers, a glaciated and mountainous landscape and an unparalleled spectacular coastline. Home also to the creation story of the palawa people, the Tasmanian Aboriginal community have deep ties to this area as evidenced by rock art, living areas and the sculpted landscape.
