Let children connect to love for this land

Mosman
The Headland Preservation Group has always supported the concept of bringing children to these lands, this headland in particular, to learn and understand not only the history of the nation but the importance of our First Nations people and the natural environment.

A school excursion to somewhere like this is worth millions of dollars. Let's bring those children from western New South Wales, let's bring them from the northern rivers and the southern coast to this place to learn and understand. Let's bring our migrant children, our Indigenous children here and let's all understand the history and our love of this Nation.

The Headland Preservation Group has proposed the establishment of an Environmental Education Centre here back in 2014. We are still promoting and lobbying for that to take place. Hopefully the New South Wales Department of Education will adopt that idea and we're looking to provide them with accommodation here on Middle head so that this vision can be realised.
