World Environment Day, June 5th. A day when people around the world pause and ask: what does nature need from us? At Kuno Foundation, our answer has always been the same: nature needs its stories told. Not by governments or corporations. By the people who actually love it — the community groups, the local ecologists, the grassroots advocates who are out there every day, doing the quiet, essential work of protecting the places and species that make life on Earth worth living.
That's where Marcio and Tilde come in.

These aren't polished PR pieces. They're real. They're the sound of a forest at dusk, the face of someone who has spent thirty years protecting a river, the image of a species that has no voice but the one we give it.

To keep this work going, we’re launching a small crowdfunding campaign with a goal of $5000 to support Marcio and Tilde’s work for the year ahead.

Even just $50 would make a massive difference for the impact this fundraising campaign will have! The donation will support the conservation storytelling of Kuno’s filmmaker, Marcio Conrado, and our conservation stories editor, Tilde Bergström.
