Iss currently channels her passion for nature as the Secretary of Aklan Trekkers on Panay Island in the Philippines.
Influenced by nature writers like Rachel Carson, Annie Dillard, and Mary Oliver, she seeks to inspire ecological stewardship and activism through her poetry.
