Hermz Gacho is a leader in Citizen Science and a passionate educator who has worked with several NGOs for nature conservation in the Visayan region.

Hermz Gacho is a dedicated high school teacher specializing in zoology and botany. Passionate about wildlife and biodiversity conservation, he actively contributes to efforts on Panay Island as Vice President and Board Trustee of the Wildlife Conservation and Protection Society. He is also an accomplished writer, having published numerous poems and three comic book anthologies. Hermz shares his expertise through public lectures, workshops, and ecological camps on topics like climate change and wildlife conservation.
