Hairy (Gary) Castles is a long-time resident of the Central Highlands in Tasmania, a recreational fisher and a builder.
Background
After coming to the lakes with his father and grandfather as a kid to go fishing, Hairy fell in love with the Central Highlands and he's been a permanent resident of the area for over 40 years. To Hairy, there's no other place he'd like to call home. He loves the peacefulness of the Central Highlands. Fishing is a big passion in life, and he also builds fishing cane rods by hand.
