Ella Roles grew up with a love of birds, works as a nature and hiking guide, and is the coordinator of the Bruny Island bird festival. Ella grew up in regional Victoria where the sound of the Red Wattlebirds were a distinctive part of her childhood. Ella studied in outdoor education and guiding, where she has worked in places such as Kangaroo Island, Victoria, New South Wales, and now Tasmania. Ella now works as a walking guide in Tasmania and as the coordinator for the Bruny Island bird festival
