Background
Tasmania has been a wonderful home for most of my life. Born and raised in the Derwent Valley, then spent many years working as a surveyor in the north of the State before a wonderful working holiday of 5 years in the Solomon Islands (then BSIP). Then I returned to Tassie for the final 20 plus years surveying in the Tasmania's lovely forests and then as property officer for Forestry Tasmania, before emigrating to Bruny Island for house building and retirement. Have very much appreciated the tender loving care of Jenny for nearly 54 years. It's been a good life.
