The geographical isolation of Bruny Island has helped to foster a unique population of white Bennett's wallabies predominating in the southern end of Adventure Bay
If you visit the southern end of Adventure Bay behind Adventure Bay beach and further south to East Cove Beach - you'll find Bennett's wallabies including the common grey-brown coloured Bennett's Wallaby alongside many White Bennett's Wallabies. It is thought that the geographical isolation of this corner of Bruny Island has led to a preponderance of this colony of White Wallabies
