The Pines Campground is closely located behind Cloudy Bay Beach, where walks include Cloudy Bay, Cloudy Bay Lagoon, and the popular surf spot of middle beach. There is wonderful birdlife out on Cloudy Bay, including the wonderful Pied Oystercatcher

The surfs, swells and rips off Cloudy Bay can at times be ferocious and highly dangerous, and there have been a number of deaths off this beach

For Parks Office: 10am-4pm Monday to Friday

Key info

$10 for 1 or 2 people per night. Each additional adult $5 per night. Each additional child (5-17, under 5 no charge) - $2.50 per night. Family (2 adults, 3 children) - $15 per night.
