From the sheltered sailing cove of Kettering, head east not into the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and meander your way through the channel or hugging the Bruny coastline in a north-easterly direction along a superb and varied coastline to Nebraska beach which you can continue to follow north-east to Dennes point. Here you can find the pier at Dennes point or the sheltered Jetty Beach which is a good spot to moor if you plan to have a picnic on the beach or visit the cafe.

Whilst the D'entrecasteaux channel is sheltered, it can still be hazardous in rough weather and strong easterlies
