Walk down to the Jetty and then follow the steps out onto Jetty Beach. Follow the beach north and up onto Denne’s point, where you can pick up the heritage trail – some interpretative signage that takes you through this region’s extraordinary history. This very point was an important meeting place of the traditional custodians of this country. In 1792, three years after the French revolution, Frenchman Bruni D’Entrecasteux sailed passed this point, he and his compatriots having several meetings with the traditional custodians of this country along the way. Follow the trail and then return to the Jetty via Dennes point lane.
