The track leads down to the beach, where you can explore by ambling along the shore, or at low tide, head north across the mudflats to cliffs with fossilised shells and Porpoise head. Around Porpoise head is the beautiful Fancy Bay. From here you could choose to return, or continue on past Chuckle Head to Little Fancy Bay – which is another 1.5km] Retrace your steps to return.

From the Roberts Point Ferry Terminal on North Bruny, drive south on the Bruny Island Main Rd (B66) for 19km until you see the carpark for the Cape Queen Elizabeth walk, on your left. [1km] further south on the road from here, there is an un-signposted track to your right where you park your car. Coming from Adventure Bay, drive north for 17km on Adventure Bay Road (C630) and then the Bruny Island Main Rd (B66) until you reach the car park to the walk, on your left, which is [1km] before you get to the Cape Queen Elizabeth walk.
