The Cape Bruny Lighthouse is a 1 ¼ hour drive south from the Ferry terminal at Roberts Point. From the Ferry Terminal on Bruny Island, drive south on Bruny Island Main Road (B66) for 24km before turning right at the T-junction at Lunawanna onto Lighthouse Road (C629). Follow Lighthouse Road south for approximately 19km until you reach the Cape Bruny car park.

Cape Bruny Lighthouse towers 114 metres tall and was built in 1836, with sweeping views over South Bruny, towards the South-West Cape of Tasmania and south across the Southern Ocean towards Antarctica
The Cape Bruny Lighthouse is at the Southern end of Bruny Island, and was commissioned by the then Governmor of Tasmania, George Arthur in 1836, after several shipwrecks off the coast of Southern Tasmania.
