A sandy beach walk along the foreshore at Alonnah with views of Satellite Island, the Channel and across to Adamson’s peak.
Track details
From the carpark, follow the track through the sand-dunes and down to the sandy beach and foreshore. From here you can meander your way southwards along the beach, with views across the D’Entrecasteaux Channelto Satellite Island and then further to Adamson’s Peak and the mountains of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. From towards the southern end of the Alonnah beach there are steps up back to the road where you can wander across the road to Hotel Bruny for a meal or refreshment if you so desire.

From the Roberts Point ferry terminal on North Bruny, drive 35km south on Bruny Island Main Road (B66) before turning right onto Pontoon Road where you can park your car.
