About Shredding Betties
Founded in 2017 Shredding Betties is Australia’s first mountain bike club specifically for women and girls. We wish to inspire, encourage and celebrate all women and girls in mountain biking.
Background
Our mission is to encourage all women and girls to get involved regardless of age, ethnicity, sexuality, size, fitness and skill level by creating a space built on approachability, inclusion and friendship. Shredding Betties run regular social rides, formal events and ride days as well as social and educational opportunities off the bike.
