About New Town Rivulet Platypus Landcare Group
Background
We care about the length of the Rivulet, ensuring that our clean-ups, weed removal, regeneration and advocacy all occur within a planned framework that will lead to the best long-term outcomes. We work cooperatively with the other community groups caring for the Rivulet. As local residents we value the richness of the New Town Rivulet and its native life. We are concerned for the “near threatened” status of the platypus and we recognise its vulnerability while the Rivulet is in its current state.
