About Cradle Coast Mountain Bike Club

The Cradle Coast Mountain Bike Club (CCMBC) was established to progress the interests of mountain biking in North West Tasmania. The Club manages the Penguin Mountain Bike Park and nearby Dial Range Mountain Bike network.

Background

While the first meeting on the north-west coast to consider the formation of a mountain bike club was held July 2009, the lease of the land owned by the Central Coast Council that was to become the Penguin Mountain Bike Park was signed off by the Club in July 2012.

Hard working and passionate volunteers have created a magnificent mountain bike park and trail network.

View the Dial Range Recreational Management Plan completed in 2024 as this is an important guide as to what recreational activities are permitted in the Dial Range and the restrictions that apply to recreational use. Needless to say, mountain biking features quite prominently.

CCMBC encourages all riders, from beginners to seasoned racers to get involved in the vibrant community of like minded MTB enthusiasts. Skills clinics, trail maintenance days, social rides, races and more.
