Nature Is Speaking – Julia Roberts is Mother Nature Conservation International (CI)

The Goldman Environmental Prize honors the achievements and leadership of grassroots environmental advocates from around the world. The 2025 prize winners have demonstrated a heroic commitment to achieve change in their care for their corner of our remarkable planet.

Gerard Castles (1961 - 2025) was one of Tasmania's greatest thinkers and advocates for its wild places. Here he talks beautifully of the spiritual importance of place. 

"I'm not proud that I've finished it, to be honest. I'm proud that I've survived it," says acclaimed Australian author Tim Winton of his new novel Juice. "...it seems to be unleashing a kind of picked-up feeling of frustration and rage at climate inaction." We catch up with Tim in Hobart during his book tour.
