Community Groups Collective Impact Survey

Tasmania's landscapes are some of the most ecologically significant on Earth — and their future is deeply tied to the wellbeing of the communities who care for them. The Healthy Landscapes, Thriving Communities initiative has started a 6-month scoping exercise. We are looking at what great work is already happening, what critical gaps exist, and what is needed for a long-term collective approach to succeed. We will then collate the findings to identify barriers, opportunities to address gaps in current efforts, and what is needed to support a shared approach to secure a future where landscapes and communities in Lutruwita / Tasmania can thrive together. As part of this work, three organisations who play a role in providing support to smaller community groups to help empower their efforts for nature are conducting a community groups’ survey to identify where local community groups’ efforts need the most support to deliver a greater impact.

Before you begin This survey takes approximately 20–25 minutes. You do not need to answer every question — partial responses are genuinely useful. Where a question doesn't apply to your organisation or role, skip it and move on. Survey responses are confidential and information provided will be thematically collated to help scope the next steps. Content will not be attributed to any individual respondents however if you would like to be quoted with a specific idea or insight, please let us know. This is an information gathering scoping exercise only. Nothing here binds you or your organisation.

About you and your organisation

So we can understand who's responding and connect the right people to the right conversations. All fields optional.
Q5. What type of community group is your group?
Q6. Which part(s) of lutruwita/Tasmania is your work focused on? (select all that apply)
Q9. What type(s) of land or environment does your group primarily work on? (Select all that apply)
Q13. Does your group collaborate with others? (If yes, please select all that apply )
Q21. How interested is your group in learning more about being part of a collective impact coalition for Tasmania's landscapes?

Thank you for taking the time to shape this work. Your input feeds directly into the work we are undertaking to map the work that is already underway, gaps in current efforts, and what is needed to secure a future where landscapes and communities in Lutruwita / Tasmania can thrive together. Findings will be shared back with respondents.
