A hope to hold on to Earth's stream of creatures

My name is Pete Hay. I'm essentially a poet.

In the past, I have written personal essays. These have all been gathered together in books. My brain is now not flexible enough to still write prose, though I do still have ambitions to write poetry. I've worked in politics. I've worked in academia. I love the animal kingdom. I guess if I have a a passion in life, it's to hope that we can find a way to hold on to biodiversity, to hold on to the stream of creatures with which we share the planet. So that's me.
